support
Questions, bugs, ideas — write to support@noni.farm. noni is built by a solo developer, so replies are personal but can take a day or two.
this page covers noni 1.0.0 for iPhone (iOS 17 or later).
why is the first download about 1.1 GB?
The download is the AI itself. The starter pack is two open-weight models — qwen3 0.6b (~350 MB) to route requests and llama 3.2 1b (~710 MB) for everyday questions — fetched directly from Hugging Face. Wi-Fi is recommended; downloads continue in the background and resume if interrupted.
does noni work offline?
Yes. Once a model is downloaded, everything runs on your iPhone — airplane mode included. The network is only ever used to download model files.
why is the first reply slow?
The first message after opening the app loads the model into memory, which can take a few seconds. After that the model stays warm and replies start streaming almost immediately. Expect roughly 10–30 tokens per second on recent iPhones — small local models trade some speed and depth for total privacy.
which iPhones are supported?
Any iPhone running iOS 17 or later. The starter models are sized for every supported device; the library labels the larger options (qwen3 1.7b, llama 3.2 3b) that want a high-memory iPhone such as the 15 Pro or newer.
how do i delete models or free up space?
On the models tab, every downloaded model shows its size on disk next to a delete button, and the storage summary at the top shows the total. Deleting a model frees its space immediately; you can re-download it any time.
how do i report a harmful or inappropriate reply?
Long-press the reply and choose report. A pre-filled email to support@noni.farm opens with the reply and basic app details — you can review and edit it before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send it. There is also a "report a problem" row in settings ▸ about.
how do i delete all my data?
Swipe to delete any conversation, use "clear all chats" in settings, or simply delete the app. Everything noni knows lives on your device — there is no server copy of anything, so deleting the app removes all of it.
